Kirk Mason, a junior at Juanita High School, was selected to participate in the 2010 U.S. Naval Academy Summer Seminar program in Annapolis, Minn.

The academy invited a select group of approximately 2,250 high achieving students from around the nation and internationally to attend the program. Summer Seminar is a fast-paced experience for high achievers who have completed their junior year in high school and are considering applying for admission to USNA after graduation.

The program teaches prospective applicants about life at the Naval Academy, where academics, athletics and professional training play equally important roles in developing the nation’s leaders.
