KDOG needs more help on Dec. 3 and 10 to finish the tasks for Kirkland’s new dog park.

The park cannot open this year without a very large effort by the community the next two Saturdays. The work parties run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Dec. 3 and 10 at 11225 N.E. 120th St.

Look for the KDOG banner at the corner of N.E. 120th St. and 113th Ave. N.E.

Be sure to wear your work gloves and dress for the weather. No dogs allowed (the park is not yet open). Street parking only please on N.E. 120th St.

The park is being built through the generous donations of businesses and individuals. Donations of any size are greatly needed to complete Phase I and to maintain the off leash area once it is opened.

Phase II of the fund raising will go towards constructing an improved access to the off leash area.
