The Eastside Rail Corridor is a major north-south connection through East King County. Once owned by BNSF Railway Company, the corridor presents an unprecedented opportunity to connect Eastside communities with the rest of the regional trail system.

From June to July, King County heard from more than 130 individual participants, and six jurisdictions on how they envision using the trail, what matters most to them, and what King County should consider during the planning process. With that feedback the County has shaped alternatives for trail alignment that the community can now review and weigh in on.

All King County residents, potential trail users, and other interested individuals are encouraged to participate in the open houses to help shape the future of King County’s regional trail system.
