Kirkland grads

The following are just a few of the Kirkland residents who graduated from college in the Class of 2016.

Lehmicke

Maggy Lauren Lehmicke is among nearly 2,800 graduates who received degrees from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in historic ceremonies May 6-7.

Lehmicke earned a bachelor of journalism from the College of Journalism and Mass Communications.

Paterra and Khablein

Kirkland residents Amira Khablein and Aisha G. Paterra both received academic degrees from Boston University. Khablein received a Masters of Public Health in Health Policy and Management, while Paterra received a Bachelor of Science in Communications.

Fanning

Kirkland resident Mitchell Edward Fanning received a bachelor of arts degree, cum laude, from the College of the Holy Cross located in Worchester, Mass. at its 170th commencement on May 27.

Harrington

Kirkland resident Sean Harrington has earned a Master of Science in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta.

Padilla

Kirkland resident Jordan Padilla was among the graduates at the University of Jamestown’s 110th Commencement Ceremony on May 7 at the Jamestown Civic Center. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree.

Walden

Rick Walden of Kirkland earned an MBA degree in Business Administration from the University of Memphis on May 7.

Klug

Kirkland resident Jesse Klug graduated from Bucknell University on May 22.

Mathews

Kirkland resident Connie Mathews was among the Linfield College graduates with a B.A. in Electronic Arts.

Fellows

Kirkland resident Andrew Fellows graduated from Union College as part of the College’s 222nd Commencement ceremony.

Fellows received a Bachelor of Arts degree while majoring in Political Science and Economics.

Filips and Wilson

Megan Filips and Carolyn Wilson graduated in the Class of 2016 at Marquette University. Filips graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering, Biomechanics and Wilson graduated with a Bachelor of Arts, Theology.

McDonald

Faith MacDonald of Kirkland graduated this spring from Ohio Wesleyan University. MacDonald earned a Bachelor of Arts degree.
