Kirkland Council selects five finalists to interview for vacancy

The Kirkland City Council has selected five applicants to be interviewed for vacant Position No. 2 seat: Santiago Ramos, Michelle Goerdel, Shelley Kloba, Jon Pascal, and Jay Arnold.

The Kirkland City Council has selected five applicants to be interviewed for vacant Position No. 2 seat: Santiago Ramos, Michelle Goerdel, Shelley Kloba, Jon Pascal, and Jay Arnold.

The interviews will be held at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday during a special meeting. During the regular council meeting that begins at 7:30 p.m., the council will appoint the new council member by a majority vote.

The special and regular meetings will be held in the council chambers at Kirkland City Hall, 123 Fifth Avenue.

Candidate applications are posted online at www.kirklandwa.gov (search: council vacancy).

The appointed council member for Position No. 2 will be required to take the oath of office prior to assuming his/her duties.
