Kirkland Library reopens to pomp and circumstance

Kirkland Mayor James Lauinger and King County Library System Director Bill Ptacek cut the ribbon during the reopening of the Kirkland Library on Saturday. Many people braved the 30-degree weather including other council members, King County Library System employees, the Lake Washington High School Jazz Ensemble and many library patrons.
