Kirkland man on motorcycle injured in collision on 405 in Bellevue

A Kirkland man was seriously injured during as accident on I-405 on July 21.

A Kirkland man was seriously injured during as accident in Bellevue on I-405 on July 21.

Ronald R Frank, 65, was driving his motorcycle southbound when he was cutoff and struck by a 24-year-old Bellevue man driving a van. The man driving the van was attempting to exit at Northeast 8th in Bellevue, according a release from the Washington State Patrol.

Both vehicles came to rest on the exit ramp. Frank was wearing a helmet but was transported to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle with undisclosed injuries.

The Washington State Patrol is still investigating the incident and no further information on Frank has been released.
