Kirkland Mayor Joan McBride and City Councilwoman Amy Walen invite Totem Lake Business District companies, interested stakeholders, and citizens to talk about the future of a vital urban center.

The second conversation in a series about Totem Lake continues from 12-1:30 p.m. June 25 at Café Veloce.

In 2010, the city hosted a Totem Lake Symposium where financial, development, and design professionals and local property and business owners shared ideas about how to revitalize the Totem Lake Business District. Their concepts were integrated into the Totem Lake Action Plan, which the council  adopted in late 2010.

The conversation is continuing through these luncheon events. The third and final conversation will be held at Café Veloce on July 23. For reservations, call the City Manager’s Office at (425) 587-3001. Attendees are responsible for the cost of lunch.
