Kirkland officials to host Totem Lake conversation Sept.23

Kirkland Mayor Joan McBride and City Councilwoman Amy Walen invite Totem Lake Business District companies, interested stakeholders and citizens to talk about Totem Lake over lunch.

This conversation will be held from 12-1:30 p.m. Sept. 23 at Café Veloce, 12514 120th Ave. NE in Kirkland.

McBride and Walen will report on private and public actions that are in the works for the Totem Lake area and will seek feedback from attendees about how to make local businesses more successful.

In 2010 and 2012, the city hosted a Totem Lake symposium where financial, development, and design professionals and local property and business owners shared ideas about how to revitalize the Totem Lake Business District.
