The weekly Kirkland Police blotter is represented on an interactive map below. Instead of listing the selection of calls separately, this feature allows the information relating to the call to be placed on the map itself.
The blotter feature is both a description of a small selection of police incidents and a statistical round-up of all calls to the Kirkland Police Department that are dispatched to on-duty police officers. The Kirkland Reporter Police Blotter is not intended to be representative of all police calls originating in Kirkland, which average about 800 per week.
Between July 14-21, the Kirkland Police Department reported 290 traffic violations (six DUIs), 28 traffic accidents, 28 noise complaints, 15 car prowls, 20 alarm calls, 13 thefts, seven assaults, nine harassment calls, five domestic violence calls, seven animal control calls, three car thefts, eight burglary calls and six acts of fraud.
