Kirkland resident Andrew Fellows graduated from Union College as part of the College’s 222nd Commencement ceremony.
Fellows received a Bachelor of Arts degree while majoring in Political Science and Economics.
At the ceremony, Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker delivered some practical advice for the graduates: Don’t be a jerk. Don’t settle for average. And don’t be afraid to fail.
“I would ask all of you to appreciate the value and the importance of civility in your personal and professional lives,” Baker told the 550 members of the Class of 2016 at Union’s 222nd Commencement on Hull Plaza Sunday. It was one of Union’s largest graduating classes.
