Nine Kirkland residents competed in the Bank of America Chicago Marathon Sunday. The local residents ran the race with some 40,000 people competing in the event.
James Weber, 31, was the top runner from Kirkland, finishing 3,147th overall with a time of three hours, 21 minutes and 59 seconds.
Brian Broxson, 39, finished with a time of four hours, 30 minutes and 29 seconds. Ashley Ehrie, 24, finished in 4:23:02. Matthew Henry, 35, finished in a time of 5:54:00. Kati Leigh, 31, finished in a time of 4:10:31. David Godwin, 52, finished in a time of 3:27:50. Robert Eichelsdoerfer, 52, finished in a time of 4:36:34. Mary Pardo, 53, finished in a time of 5:19:16. Daniel Mikosz, 48, did not post a finishing time.
