The Lake Washington High School girls soccer team defeated Interlake, 1-0, on Thursday in Bellevue.

The Kangs’ only goal came nine minutes into the contest, as Grace Sturdevant put a pass from Anna Henderson into the back of the Saints’ net.

Micheala Powers earned the shutout in goal for the Kangs.

Lake Washington will play at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday in Lynnwood against Mountlake Terrace.
