Lake Washington High School senior, Marin Harris, will present her senior project during a special Kirkland Heritage Society presentation at 7 p.m. April 25 at Heritage Hall, 203 Market St.

Marin’s father grew up in the historic John and Martha Kellett home. Her grandmother still lives there. John Kellett is credited with naming Kirkland after his employer Peter Kirk.

Mr. Kellett named many of Kirkland’s streets and the Kellett’s lived on Rose Hill in England. Some treasurers have been discovered in the home’s historic attic and Marin will be sharing what she has learned. Presented by the Kirkland Heritage Society.
