Travis Lindseth of Kirkland was selected as one of 37 contestants for the new season of Gospel Music Channel television network’s American Idol®-style talent series “Gospel Dream,” which premieres June 24.
The contestants from around the country will arrive in Nashville this week for the series taping. They are the winners of feeder auditions held over the past two months in nine major U.S. markets: Seattle, Minneapolis, Dallas, Los Angeles, Oakland, Nashville, Orlando, Atlanta, and Detroit.
Gospel Dream talent auditions invited solo artists between the ages of 16-40 years of age, from all genres of Gospel/Christian music styles, including traditional, rock, pop, country and soul to compete for the final competition in Nashville from which 10 finalists – and ultimately one winner – will be chosen by a celebrity panel of industry professionals. The winning artist will receive record and music video exposure, among other prizes.
Gospel Dream will air Wednesday nights at 9 p.m. ET/PT, beginning on June 24. The theme for the shows fourth season is “The Greatest Inspirational Songs of All Time.” For information, visit www.gospelmusicchannel.com.
