The Lake Washington High School baseball team earned some redemption with a 2-0 victory against Mercer Island on Monday on Mercer Island.
The Kangs got on the board with a run during the top of the first and then scored again during the fourth.
That was all the offense the team would need, as Nick Ludwig threw six and a third innings, giving up just four hits and two walks, while striking out five batters.
Kevin Nakahara and Austin Lively had an RBI each during the contest.
The win evens the season searies, as the defending state champs, Mercer Island, handed Lake Washington its first loss of the year on Friday, 6-0.
