The Lake Washington High baseball team rode a no-hitter from Nick Ludwig to a 12-0 KingCo 3A league win over Interlake on Monday in Kirkland.
Ludwig pulled out the second consecutive no-hitter for the Kangs (11-1 overall, 10-1), who have scored 43 runs in their last three games.
Jake Wikel knocked a three-run homer over the right field fence and on to the tennis courts in the bottom of the second inning to get the scoring started for Lake Washington. The Kangaroos scored nine runs in the bottom of the fourth inning, including two bases-loaded walks, a double from Kevin Nakahara and a triple from Paul Falco.
Ludwig finished with seven strikeouts and two walks in five innings.
Next, the Kangaroos are scheduled to play Interlake at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 13 in Bellevue.
