Lake Washington High baseball is holding its second annual Hopelink food drive during the Kang games versus Juanita High on Friday at Lee Johnson Field.

The junior varsity game starts at 4 p.m., followed by the varsity contest at 7 p.m.

Most-needed food items: canned meals, canned meat, dry beans, canned fruit and vegetables, grains (pasta and rice), nut butters, hearty soup, cereal and oatmeal and healthy pre-packed snacks.

Non-food items: baby items (diapers, wipes and formula), hygiene items (toothpaste, toothbrushes and razors; combs, brushes and soap; shampoo and deodorant), toilet paper and paper towels and household cleaning items (dish soap and laundry soap).
