Maggy Lauren Lehmicke of Kirkland was among nearly 2,800 graduates who received degrees from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in historic ceremonies May 6 and 7.

Lehmicke earned a bachelor of journalism from the College of Journalism and Mass Communications.
