Man arrested for violating no-contact order with mother | Police blotter for May 11-17

Wednesday, May 17

Domestic violence: At around 11 p.m., a man in the 13100 block of 86th Place Northeast was arrested for assaulting his wife after she accused him of having an affair.

Tuesday, May 16

Shoplifting: At 2:11 p.m., a 23-year-old woman was caught stealing from Office Max in the 12000 block of 120th Place Northeast.

Monday, May 15

Order violation: A 77-year-old woman called police to report that her 53-year-old son was sitting on the side of her residence in the 13000 block of 87th Place Northeast. The son is under a no-contact order with his mother, in which he is not allowed to be within 1,000 feet of his mother’s person or residence. The son was extremely intoxicated and was transported to a hospital. He will be booked, pending release.

Identity theft: A 34-year-old man was arrested at 8:14 p.m. in the 13100 block of Northeast 132nd Street on his King County Sheriff warrant for second-degree identity theft.

Trespass: At 4:36 p.m., an employee at the QFC in the 11200 block of Northeast 124th Street reported that an individual who had previously been trespassed from the store was on the premise. The suspect was released in the field.

Warrant arrest: A 35-year-old man was contacted at a business in the 10600 block of Northeast 38th Place as an unwanted subject. He was arrested on a warrant out of Edmonds for driving with a suspended license.

DUI: At 12:14 a.m., a 59-year-old man was contacted after a single-car collision in the 7900 block of 116th Avenue Northeast. The man totaled his vehicle and heavily damaged the guard rail. He admitted to consuming alcohol earlier in the day and was subsequently arrested for driving under the influence and processed at the Kirkland Jail.

Saturday, May 13

Don’t I know you?: At 10:31 a.m., a 23-year-old man was seen and recognized at the QFC in the 11200 block of Northeast 124th Street. The man had a warrant out of Redmond for third-degree theft, with bail set at $3,000. He was arrested and transported to the warrant meet.

Warrant arrest: At 8:51 a.m., police came into contact with a 28-year-old woman who was found to have multiple misdemeanor warrants, including a one out of Redmond for third-degree theft. She was arrested and transported to the warrant meet.

Not-so-brotherly love: At 2:12 a.m., two brothers were involved in a physical fight with each other in the 9700 block of Northeast 119th Way. Both parties were uncooperative with officers at the scene and a witness was able to give a description of what they saw. One brother was determined to be the aggressor and was arrested for fourth-degree assault, domestic violence and booked into the Kirkland Jail.

DUI: An officer observed a vehicle speeding northbound on Interstate 405 at 12:38 a.m. The driver showed signs of impairment and was arrested for driving under the influence.

Friday, May 12

Driving with a suspended license: At 11:12 p.m., a female reported that she was being followed while driving. Police made contact with the female and driver of the other vehicle. The other driver told police that he was trying to find work and he was following the other vehicle because she was teaching him to drive. The man was driving with a suspended license.

Warrant arrest: At about 4 p.m., Kirkland police was dispatched to meet with Bellevue police to pick up an individual who had a warrant out of Kirkland.

Thursday, May 11

Order violation: At 2:33 p.m., a woman reported that a man she has an order against contacted her by Face Time.
