The mid-term Democratic caucus for the 48th Legislative District will be at 1 p.m. March 9 at Rose Hill Elementary School in the cafeteria.
Keynote speakers include 48th Legislative District State Rep. Ross Hunter and former Kirkland mayor and Senate candidate Joan McBride.
The caucus will consider platform proposals and resolutions and elect eight delegates and six alternates to join ex officio members at the Washington State Democratic Convention in Spokane on June 21.
Platform items and resolutions for referral to the state convention or county convention on April 12, will also be considered.
Any registered voter in the 48th Legislative District or 17 year old who will be eligible to register to vote in the November 2014 general election may vote at the caucus.
