Washington Gov. Christine Gregoire has appointed Darrell S. Mitsunaga of Bellevue to a five-year term on the Lake Washington Technical College (LWTC) Board of Trustees.

Mitsunaga is a partner in the law firm of Johns Monroe Mitsunaga Kolouskova, PLLC in Bellevue. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science from the University of Utah and his Doctor of Jurisprudence from the University of Washington. He is a member of the Washington State Bar Association, the Asian Bar Association of Washington, King County Bar Association, the Bellevue Chamber of Commerce, and the Master Builders Association of King and Snohomish Counties.

Mitsunaga replaces Don M. Mukai, who completed his second term in 2010 after serving on the board since 2002. The Board meets on the first Monday of the month.
