The Kirkland Police Department will be putting on their 33rd annual National Night Out Against Crime on Tuesday, August 2.
The event is designed to promote police-community partnerships and promote safety and awareness in the community.
Activities include cookouts, flashlight walks and contests.
Neighborhoods are encouraged to register their events with the city so police and firefighters can visit them between 6 p.m. and 9 p.m.
Block party fees will be waived for Night Out events held on August 2.
