The Juanita Neighborhood Association will present the “Welcome to Juanita” event from 1-4 p.m. at the Juanita Community Club.

The event is designed for Juanita residents and small businesses with an aim to celebrate diversity and inclusion in Juanita.

Topics discussed include:

• Help for small businesses; life and disability insurance

• Register to vote

• Information about English as a second language classes

• Citizenship application support and cultural support

• Financial consultation: creating credit history, home loans

• Educational and career opportunities

• Buying or renting homes: information and resources

• Create your club: (Women Self-Help, child-care co-op)

• Hall of Fame: Stories of successful Juanita Immigrants

• Free food and entertainment
