Northwest University in Kirkland will host a community forum titled “Are we safe in our community?” at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 26.

The forum will feature State Rep. Roger Goodman, Kirkland City Councilwoman Penny Sweet and former Kirkland police chief Eric Olsen.

Goodman currently chairs the Joint Legislative Task Force on the Use of Deadly Force in Community Policing.

The event will be held in in the Argue Health Sciences building, room 104. Northwest University is located at 5520 108th Ave NE in Kirkland.
