Eleven Senior high school girls from Eastside high schools received Overlake Alumnae Panhellenic Scholarships for 2009. Each winner received a Certificate of Merit and a monetary award. These awards will be presented at their respective high school award programs or ceremonies. This year’s recipients include: Bellevue High School: Alaina Goesling, Kate Leigh; Eastside Catholic High School: Ashley Neville; Issaquah High School: Kirsten Johnson; Lake Washington High School: Jenna Schulz; Liberty High School: Kaylen Stix; Mercer Island High School: Madison Aspiri; Newport High School: Lauren Vannini; Redmond High School: Julia Ashley; Sammamish High School: Stephanie Robinson; and Skyline High School: Kim Lammers.

For more than 50 years, Overlake Alumnae Panhellenic has provided scholarships to deserving high school girls. Funds for these scholarships are raised through the panhellenic’s annual Scholarship Luncheon. The next fund raiser will be Dec. 2 at Overlake Golf & Country Club.
