The following is a release from the Washington State Department of Transportation:
Drivers on Interstate 405 in north Kirkland should prepare for possible delays Tuesday through Thursday nights. Contractor crews working for the Washington State Department of Transportation plan to close up to three southbound lanes between Northeast 160th Street and Northeast 124th Street, as well as a nearby ramp, to install toll equipment for the I-405 Bellevue to Lynnwood Widening and Express Toll Lanes project.
Lane closures
- Tuesday, Jan. 20 to the morning of Wednesday, Jan. 21 – Up to three lanes of southbound I-405 between Northeast 160th Street and Northeast 124th Street will close starting at 7 p.m. Two lanes will close at 7:30 p.m., and three lanes will close at 10:30 p.m. All lanes will be open by 4:30 a.m.
- Wednesday, Jan. 21 to the morning of Thursday, Jan. 22 – Up to two lanes of southbound I-405 between Northeast 160th Street and Northeast 124th Street will close starting at 7 p.m. All lanes will be open by 5 a.m.
- Thursday, Jan. 22 to the morning of Friday, Jan. 23 – Up to three lanes of southbound I-405 between Northeast 160th Street and Northeast 124th Street will close starting at 7 p.m. Two lanes will close at 7:30 p.m., and three lanes will close at10:30 p.m. All lanes will be open by 4:30 a.m.
Ramp closure
- Wednesday, Jan. 21 to the morning of Friday, Jan. 23 – The Northeast 128th Street on-ramp to northbound I-405 will close nightly from midnight to 6 a.m.
