Popcorn, Indiana and NBC’s “The Biggest Loser” to be at Kirkland Summerfest

“FIT Across America 2013” will be traveling select cities, including Kirkland, to promote their snack through giveaways and tips from “The Biggest Loser” ambassadors.

The popcorn company will be at the annual Kirkland Summerfest Saturday and Sunday to give consumers a chance to sample the snack. The popcorn is “a better-for-you, ready-to-eat popcorn available in five flavors,” according to Popcorn, Indiana executives.

Every one-cup serving is only 40 calories or less with just 2 grams of fat.

In addition, consumers will be presented with the “essentials” to get fit, such as exercise gear, tips from “The Biggest Loser” FIT ambassadors and healthy post-workout snacks from Popcorn, Indiana.

The four-month consumer sampling tour began at Popcorn, Indiana’s headquarters in Englewood, NJ on May 31 and will end in Philadelphia, PA on Sept. 14.

The FIT Mobile will accompany the country’s other top summer events including: the AIDS Walk in Boston, The Biggest Loser Race in Chicago, Venice Beach’s Summerfest in Los Angeles and Taste of Dallas in Texas.
