Public invited to Citizens Academy

Applications are being accepted for the 2009 Kirkland Police Department (KPD) Citizens Academy, a free 12-week course on officer training, investigations, special response and firearms instruction.

Applications are being accepted for the 2009 Kirkland Police Department (KPD) Citizens Academy, a free 12-week course on officer training, investigations, special response and firearms instruction.

Classes, which are taught by KPD officers and personnel, begin Feb. 4 and will be held on Wednesdays from 6-9 p.m. through April 22.
