Puget Sound Energy and Kirkland city officials will host a walking tour Tuesday for residents interested in the “Route B” section of the proposed Energize Eastside 230 kV transmission line project on Rose Hill.
The tour will begin at 5:30 p.m. and will meet at Northeast 70th Street by the Houghton Park and Ride lot, near the Bridle Trails neighborhood sign. The group will then will walk the route – heading east on 70th Street, north on 122nd Avenue Northeast, and east on Northeast 80th Street to Rose Hill Elementary.
Cars will be available to take people back to the park and ride lot.
Residents will be able to question PSE and city officials and share concerns.
