Revised forecast shows 10 inches of snow through Thursday morning for Kirkland, Puget Sound

The National Weather Service has declared a “Snow Storm Watch.”

The high on Tuesday is expected to be near 36 degrees with a calm west wind of 8 mph. The chance for snow is 90 percent, with day-time accumulations of less than an inch according to the National Weather Service.

The over-night low will be 28 degrees with 1-to-2 inches of snow possible.

According to the National Weather Service there could be between 4-to-8 inches of new snow on Wednesday, with a 100-percent chance of precipitation and a high temperature of 32 degrees.

Overnight low on Wednesday will be 29 degrees with 1-to-2 more inches of new snow possible.

The snow is not expected to turn to rain until Thursday at 10 a.m., with the snow level rising to 1,100 feet.
