Tennis celebrity Michael Chang to hold charity Pro-Am in Kirkland Friday

Tennis celebrity Michael Chang, who was formally ranked No. 2 in the world, and 16 of the top tennis professionals in the greater Seattle area will face off in a tennis Pro-Am in Kirkland on Friday, Aug. 16.

Tennis celebrity Michael Chang, who was formally ranked No. 2 in the world, and 16 of the top tennis professionals in the greater Seattle area will face off in a tennis Pro-Am in Kirkland on Friday, Aug. 16.

The fund-raising event will raise money for clean water in Laos at the first-ever Michael Chang’s Doubles Smash at Central Park Tennis Club in Kirkland.

The event will kick-start at 4 p.m., with five back-to-back rounds of matches culminating with the finals at 6:30 p.m., which will feature Michael Chang.

Tickets are available online at allsportsfestival.com. General admission tickets cost $25 and include five raffle tickets.

All proceeds from this event will go towards the Chang Family Foundation, whose mission is to provide clean water in Laos.
