The member businesses of KirklandWeddings.com have again joined together to offer couples two special, affordable and stress-free wedding events in the scenic and historic waterfront town of Kirkland.
These events are available only on Valentine’s Day, Feb. 14, and on Friday of Kirkland Uncorked weekend, July 15, and each includes:
• A ceremony at Kirkland’s historic Heritage Hall, with accommodation for up to 30 guests, preset with floral arrangements and other decorations.
• Ceremonial services of an experienced, retired district court judge.
• Assistance of a professional wedding coordinator to ensure a memorable event.
• Live or recorded music (depending on availability).
• Services of a professional photographer with one 5×7 print included.
• Keepsake fresh flower bouquet and boutonniere.
• Hotel room block at discounted rates (subject to availability).
These special events – which may also include renewals or commitment ceremonies – are being offered for the low price of only $350 per couple, due to the generosity of the vendor volunteers. Licenses for legal marriages must be obtained by each wedding couple from any county within Washington State and provided to KirklandWeddings.com no later than Feb. 5 for Valentine’s Day and July 6 for July 15. Out-of-state couples may apply to King County by mail, using a form found at the King County Marriage License Web site. The officiating retired district court judge will assist with preparation of legal marriage license paperwork.
Ceremony times are hourly from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. There are eight time slots available for weddings, renewals, or commitment ceremonies. Couples should send in their registration form as soon as possible to increase their chance of participation. Ceremony times will go on a first come, first served basis.
Net proceeds of each of these events will be donated to Hopelink.
