A truck driver misjudged the height of the Cross Kirkland Corridor overpass on Kirkland Way on Wednesday after noon and got his truck stuck.
The accident took place around 2 p.m. as the vehicle was traveling east. The Kirkland police were forced to shut down the road while the truck was dislodged.
The overpass is marked as being 11-feet, 6-inches high and the truck got stuck about halfway through. A tow truck had to be called in and the air let out of the big rig’s tires in order to pull the vehicle out.
