The United Way of King County is in the middle of its Free Tax Preparation campaign.
Tax season is well underway and many locals may know, and United Way of King County provides free tax preparation services to the community through its Free Tax Preparation Campaign. There are still many people in the community that need to file and the company is still serving free tax preparation services to the community online and at 30 locations until April 19.
This service helps community members avoid tax prep fees and secures all the tax credits that are eligible to them. Households making under $66,000 can have their taxes prepared plus they can get connected to other community resources and public benefits.

Bellevue Hopelink, 14812 Main St. in Bellevue with hours on Thursday from 5 to 9 p.m., Friday from 12 to 4 p.m., Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Jubilee REACH 14200 SE 13th Place in Bellevue with hours on Monday and Wednesday from 5 to 9 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
YMCA KTUB, 348 N Kirkland Ave. in Kirkland with hours on Monday from 5 to 9 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Locals can file either online for free with United Way’s My Free Taxes tool at www.MyFreeTaxes.com, or in-person at one of the 30 locations throughout King County.
