The influenza season is just around the corner, and Virginia Mason will be offering seasonal flu vaccinations at the Kirkland clinic without an appointment. The walk-in clinic will offer flu shots only.
This year’s flu vaccine includes protection against the H1N1 virus, as well as two other seasonal flu strains. In most cases, only one dose of the vaccine is needed.
All patients nine years and older may get vaccinated for the seasonal flu without an appointment during the scheduled vaccination clinic hours, which include 8-11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 23; 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 27; 3-7 p.m. Wednesdays, Oct. 20, Nov. 3 and Nov. 17; 2-6 p.m. Fridays, Oct. 15, Oct. 29 and Nov. 12; 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday Oct. 22; and 9 a.m. to noon Saturdays, Oct. 16, 23, 30 and Nov. 6, 13, 20 and 27.
The clinic is located at 11800 N.E. 128th St., Suite 300 in Kirkland. Virginia Mason will bill all insurance plans, and most insurance companies will cover 100 percent of the cost of flu shots.
Patients may be vaccinated during regular medical exams throughout the flu season.
Schedule may be subject to changes. Visit VirginiaMason.org for updates.
