Shelley Waltar, a 7th grade baritone saxophonist at Finn Hill Junior High School in Kirkland has been selected to perform in the Junior All-State Band in February. The band will perform on Saturday, Feb. 13, 2010 in Yakima during the state music teachers convention. More than 1,200 7th and 8th grade students auditioned for the opportunity to perform in this elite ensemble. The staff and students of Finn Hill are very proud to have Shelley representing them in the junior all-state band.
