Sarah Watanabe of Kirkland is among 67 Linfield College students participating this fall in a Linfield study abroad program.

Watanabe, a junior majoring in international business, is studying at Kanto Gakuin University, Linfield’s sister college in Yokohama, Japan. Housing for Linfield students at KGU is a combination of a home stay and campus housing at the Hayama Seminar House, approximately a one hour train ride from the university. She is spending time with Japanese families and exploring Yokohama and Tokyo with KGU exchange students who have attended Linfield.

Watanabe is the daughter of Guy and Audrey Watanabe of Kirkland. She is involved with tennis, Linfield Senate and is a member of Alpha Phi Sorority.
