The Northshore Utility District (NUD) has reported that one of their water mains broke at 116th Way Northeast and Northeast 132nd early this morning by Kingsgate Park and Ride.

Repairs to road service are currently underway. NUD stated it is working with the city of Kirkland to open lanes on 116th Way Northeast by mid-morning.

The park and ride is still accessible from the south off of Northeast 128th Street.

The water main broke shortly after midnight, and workers were able to isolate the broken main within an hour. A repair crew was dispatched to the site at around 2:30 a.m.

NUD is reporting that water service to customers was not affected.
