All lanes of westbound I-90 between I-405 and East Mercer Way are now open, along with the I-405 and Bellevue Way general purpose and HOV ramps. The lanes opened at 4:30 a.m. Friday morning.
The closure began at 8 p.m. on July 18 and the week-long closure of multiple lanes was to replace bridge expansion joints on the East Channel Bridge near Mercer Island.
The opening of the lanes is expected to relieve traffic westbound on SR 522, SR 520 and side roads through Kirkland and Northshore.
