Between Aug. 21-28, there were 304 traffic incidents, 30 traffic accidents, eight DUIs, 33 general traffic incidents, 46 alarm calls, 11 abandoned vehicles, three burglaries, nine incidents of fraud, 19 civil incidents, three cases of harassment, 15 thefts, 15 vehicle prowls, six vehicle thefts, 13 warrants served, 24 noise complaints, 11 animal calls, 10 incidents of domestic violence, nine incidents of malicious mischief, arson, rape, one fireworks complaint, 17 disturbances, one sex offense, four assaults, six hit and runs and 33 incidents involving at least one arrest.

Aug. 27

Trespass: 12:10 p.m., 200 block of Parkplace Ctr. A 28-year-old man caused a disturbance at Parkplace Center and refused to leave when asked. He also refused to identify himself when arrested for criminal trespass, as well as obstructing an officer after he attempted to slip handcuffs to the front of his body on separate occasions.

Aug. 25

Assault: 9 p.m., 11400 bock of 108th Ave NE. A 34-year-old woman was arrested for punching her 34-year-old fiance’s face during an argument.

Aug. 24

Hit and run: 8:24 a.m., 100 block of Lake Street. Police responded to a hit and run scene where an unknown vehicle had torn the front bumper off of a woman’s Subaru Legacy. Police were able to successfully use video surveillance footage to locate the other vehicle driven by a 51-year-old man. The video footage also showed he was with his girlfriend in violation of a no-contact order. The man has yet to be found.

Aug. 22

Disorderly conduct: 3:49 p.m., 12400 block of 116th Ave NE. A 41-year-old woman reacted angrily to police when they contacted her as part of a welfare check. She started screaming and walked into traffic, where she obstructed vehicles before being arrested and booked for disorderly conduct.
