In an effort to finish rebuilding Leonid Milkin’s Kirkland home, a group of volunteers did foundation work for the garage on Saturday. Kirkland resident JJ Johnson, owner of Astrof Concrete, donated all of the materials and worked with the staff and students at the Construction Industry Training Council of Washington. Milkin’s home was burned to the ground after Conner Schierman murdered his wife, two sons and sister-in-law in 2006.
