This engaging workshop builds communication skills. Anyone who plays a strategic role in an organizational setting, such as an executive, manager or staff member, can use the workshop tools to build advanced leadership techniques.
Effective communicators strengthen organization and increase productivity. The same set of communication tools taught in the workshop also improves personal relationships.
The workshop focuses on building self-awareness and understanding of the impact one’s behavior has on others; teaches people to manage their reactions to others in moments of intensity and to respond quickly and thoughtfully in intense situations; contributes to the health of the organization; and offers ways to take a clear stand on important issues while staying connected to colleagues with different points of view.
Instructor Jeff McAuliffe is a faculty member at LIOS Graduate College and maintains a private coaching and consulting practice. His clients have included Microsoft, Swedish Health Services, Boeing, Sound Transit, and Group Health Co-operative.
