LIOS Graduate School of Saybrook University is offering Results-Focused Communication, a communication workshop from 8:45 a.m. to 4:45 p.m., Jan. 18, 2012 at 4010 Lake Washington Blvd. NE, Suite 300, Kirkland.

Results-Focused Communication is designed for executives, managers and employees who wish to become more effective communicators.

Participants will learn to communicate with clarity and gain awareness of the effect their communication style has on others and how to tailor it to be more effective. The workshop will also cover what types of responses will achieve the most impactful results.

Daniel Leahy, a LIOS faculty member and former president of LIOS, will present the workshop. His workshops typically fill up due to his expertise and engaging presentation methods.

The day-long session focuses on building communication skills that help participants achieve desired results in the workplace and at home. Working professionals can earn .7 continuing education credits.
