The University of Delaware held its Spring Commencement exercises May 31 at the Bob Carpenter Center in Newark, Del.

Xinyi Zhang, of Kirkland was among the graduates. Zhang earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Mathematics, in the College of Arts and Sciences.
