Albert Edward “Chick” Chukitus | Obituary

Albert Edward “Chick” Chukitus, long-time resident of Kirkland, WA, died peacefully on July 25, 2024, at Evergreen Hospital at the age of 90 years old.

Chick was born on November 19, 1933, in Chester, Pennsylvania to Martha and Anthony Chukitus. He served in the U.S. Airforce and married the love of his life Barbara Stein. They were married 55 years. Together they had three children, Drew, Denni and Darren.

Chick graduated from Villanova University and worked as a space and aeronautical engineer priding himself on having contributed to significant military defense projects and the space program. He retired from Boeing in 1995. During his life he enjoyed fishing, golfing, attending the theatre and spending time with family and friends.

Chick is survived by his children Drew (wife Robin), Denni (fiancé John Weed), Darren, his grandson Ian (wife Sarah) and great granddaughter Audrey.
