Alice Elizabeth Dobry, 61, of Kirkland, passed away peacefully on December 7, 2022, joining her parents in their eternal home.

A native of the Washington, D.C. area, Alice earned bachelor’s degrees in economics and mechanical engineering from the University of Maryland, College Park.

She is predeceased by her parents, Aliki, an artist, and Edward, a veterinarian. In addition to her husband, Andrew, son, Ethan and daughter, Erin, survivors include two sisters, Mary Dobry and Dorothy Dobry and many family members.

Alice’s fighting spirit and strength endured throughout her treatment for brain cancer (glioblastoma). Her final act was the gift of eyesight through cornea donation.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, Jan. 10 at 1:00 p.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church, 7045 120th Ave., NW, Kirkland, WA, 98033, with burial immediately following at Calvary Cemetery, 5041 35th Ave., NE, Seattle, WA, 98105.
