Barbara-Jo Aunger A loving mother, passed away peacefully January 9, 2009, surrounded by family and friends. Barbara was born May 19, 1952 in Pensacola, FL to Helen Tsoulas and Lester Gibson.Barbara was a long time resident of Kirkland, WA where she worked as a real estate appraiser for many years. She had a true zest for life. A generous heart fueled her many passions as exhibited in her love of animals and in all her relationships. Sailing, gardening and cooking were just a few of Barbara’s other loves.Barbara is survived by her daughter Leora Aunger of San Diego, CA; brother Bob Ghen of Oxnard, CA; nephew Bobby Ghen of Ojai, CA; nieces Brooke Hanson and Brier Ghen of Santa Barbara, CA. A Celebration of life was held at the home of Ken Hodge for family and friends. We will miss Barbara’s contagious laugh and positive energy.
