Edna Price

Edna died comfortably and at peace in her Kirkland home March 10, 2012. She was surrounded by her children and was called to be with her Lord and loving husband, George. She was born June 28, 1920 in Brooklyn, NY. Edna was the daughter of Walter Herbert Miller and Edna Marie Sheedy. Edna married George Price, in February 1947, and moved from Miami to Seattle in 1947 where they raised five children. Together, Edna and George enjoyed 62 years of marriage until his passing in 2009.Edna and George were active members at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church and later All Saints Lutheran, where they made many life-long friends and memories.Edna is survived by her son, George (Linda) Price; daughters, Pauline (Steve) Skogmo and Sally Jean (Guy) Sparks; and twins, Joan and John Price. She was the loving grandmother of Paul, Michelle, Christine, Lindsay, Stuart, Amanda, and Adam, and great grandmother to Gavin, Paige, Jared, Avery and Mallory; and many loving extended family in Florida. There will be a Celebration of Life for Edna on Saturday, March 31, 2012 at 2pm at All Saints Lutheran Church, 5501 148th Ave NE, Bellevue, WA 98007.In lieu of flowers and at Edna’s request, remembrances may be made to All Saints Lutheran Church (building fund) or to Evergreen Hospice Services, 12822 124th Lane NE, Kirkland, WA 98034.Please share your memories and sign the online guestbook at www.acaciafuneralhome.com.
