George Mangouras 71, went to sleep in the Lord on November 30, 2008 with his family at his side.Beloved husband for over 41 years of Fevronia Mangouras; father of John Mangouras and his wife Denise, Pete Mangouras and his wife Hadley and Athina Athan; grandfather of Leena & Vasili Athan, Lia, Roni, Phoebe & Kristina Mangouras; also survived numerous relatives and friends.Member of KDA (Kirkland Downtown As-sociation) & Kirkland Business Association. Immigrated from Greece in 1964 to Canada and moved to America in 1974. In 1976 Opened George’s Place Restaurant in Kirkland, WA. Established as one of Kirkland’s True Icons. He will be dearly missed.
